Multiply that by at least 56, and non-whites (especially darker-skinned folks) go through on a daily basis, Islam or otherwise. You should just see a glimpse of how those people are seen as/treated. You don't realized how blessed you are. Like you have entire Western AND non-Western societies built to put you on a pedestal/seen as higher than. I'm white. I wear niqab and live in the US. Please check out my blog, I'm sure you'll find many things you can relate to. I've dealt with A LOT of racism and discrimination that I talk about on my blog since I converted to Islam. I actually never experienced it before converting. It was a shock to me too that not all Muslims are good and that they can be so unkind and racist!

GoriNiqabiWife.blogspot.com-https://www.blogger.com/profile/10729676131923941405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29744002496111674.post-72010499844974633852013-01-03T13:08:09.311-08:002013-01-03T13:08:09.311-08:00assalamualaikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu sister!...assalamualaikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu sister!!!
masha'Allah so glad to have stumbled upon your lovely blog!! this post was GREAT ..and you know next time you walk past those sisters.. (if you do ) ... you should tell them about Malcolm X ..and that we are not living in the "Nation of Islam" era where Islam is only for "blacks" ... maybe you should recommend them to read his autobiography.. but it may be too complex for their uncultured, juvenile minds.. this has inspired me to write a post about Race issues in Islam!!! jazakilah kheyr!!

please do stop by !
I'm a Chinese Convert from Canada...and Islam definitely is NOT just for Arabs or "blacks" ... or whatever colour... Allah created us from one man, Adam . nobody is greater than the other except for in terms of taqwa.. May Allah continue to open our hearts and minds and continue to expand our intellect so that we do not fall into Shaitan's trap and be like Iblees who was expelled for his arrogance and pride!!!! AMEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!!
ohhh you should tell those little kids about Iblees! and how his arrogance and ignorance expelled him from Paradise.. this is always a great example for EVERY KIND OF ISSUE IN TODAY'S SOCIETY!!!!!!!!!! GREAT POST SISTER GREAT POST!!!!!

please stop by ! @ www.onechinesemuslimah.blogspot.com !!!
Khadijahkhadijahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12543326223405080665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29744002496111674.post-48196774308448344612012-12-31T04:23:44.412-08:002012-12-31T04:23:44.412-08:00Prejudice is so widespread; and not only because o...Prejudice is so widespread; and not only because of skin colour or religion. I am a Jordanian who has spent most of her life in Egypt and who is normally accepted by Egyptians UNTIL they learn I am Jordanian. Then I can find myself classified as inferior; as either a 'bedu' (desert nomad) or a Palestinian. Both groups are seen as inferior by a great many Egyptians, educated as well as ignorant ones.
In fact I am half Bedu (and proud of that fact) and half Lebanese, and I am tall as well. Yes, there is even prejudice against height here !!!
Sadly it's prejudice is alive and throving the world over.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14578769640274963943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29744002496111674.post-58255639367992503042012-12-07T05:02:00.902-08:002012-12-07T05:02:00.902-08:00I've seen this happen. Like-wise most thought I was Turkish if I wore hijab because that explanation made more sense than non-Muslim learning about Islam lol. I hope this doesn't happen to you too often dear. God Willing people will learn :)LKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06170091976914539273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29744002496111674.post-71214789647599482822012-12-06T10:19:51.569-08:002012-12-06T10:19:51.569-08:00I totally agree. Not in those words, but by things they say and do, and act towards non-Muslims.

AnisahAnisahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11095028817264943486noreply@blogger.com
