It was really good and a fast read. The historical people were very real and easy to relate to. I think that it kind of ignored Muhammad's less-than-good actions -- for example, throughout the book, in every battle scene, the implication was that Muhammad was involved in the planning for each battle, but that when it came to the battles themselves, he stood off on the sidelines, unarmed, and never killed anyone. Aisha was a very human character, and the book was largely written from her point of view. It's a good way to pass an afternoon. :)
And? I picked this up but I haven't read it yet.
