Question

Okay, I'm confused. It's Eid again? I thought that was right after Ramadan. Can somebody clarify this for me?

  1. After Ramadan = Eid al-Fitr.

    Now = Eid al-Adha.

    Eid just means "holiday." This one is remembering Abraham sacrificing the ram instead of his son. (Jews+Christians=Isaac, Muslims=Ishmael.) Fitr is 3 days of celebration, Adha is 4.
